Searching for something to get you into the Halloween spirit? Look no further. Check out LakeCities Ballet Theatre’s production of Le Ballet de Dracula. This original ballet written by Tom Rutherford and choreographed by LakeCities Ballet Artistic Director Kelly Lannin is sure to give you some thrills and chills.
The 6th Fall production of Le Ballet de Dracula will take place at the Medical Center of Lewisville Grand Theater Oct. 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 15 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The MCL Grand is located at 100 N. Charles Street, Lewisville, TX 75057.
A pre-performance workshop will be held prior to the 7:30 performance on Oct. 15 at 5 p.m. for younger guests, middle school ages and older, and is free with the purchase of a performance ticket, according to a LakeCities Ballet press release. The children will have a chance to wear stage make-up and dance with Dracula’s Brides.
Audience members also are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes and participate in a contest to be held at intermission.
